On a bright, energetic morning, the Founding Batch of NEXIS came together for their Pre-Orientation, marking the start of an exciting new chapter in their journeys as future business leaders. With over 40 Phase 1 students in attendance, the day was designed to welcome, inspire, and spark connections.
A High-Energy Welcome
The day began with a powerful welcome by the founders of NEXIS, setting the tone for what lies ahead. The room buzzed with excitement as students took their first steps into this new world of experiential business learning.

Letter to Future Self
Each student then penned a heartfelt letter to their future self, imagining the person they would become in the next 3 years. These letters were dropped into a special box — to be opened upon graduation. A touching moment of self-reflection.

A Ghibli-Style Keepsake
As a surprise, every student received a beautiful, Ghibli-style NEXIS photo frame — a token of their first day at the institute, and a symbol of the memories they’ll create.

We turned up the fun with Human Bingo, a creative ice-breaker where students mingled and discovered quirky facts about their batchmates. Laughter echoed through the halls as friendships began to form.

Next came the NEXIS faculty introduction, followed by an open Q&A session and FAQs. Students got a clear view of what academic life would look like, and what to expect in the months ahead.

Masterclass on Negotiation
We were honoured to host Mr. Dhiraj Kothari for a masterclass on “The Art of Negotiation” — in true NEXIS style. His insights captivated the room and brought practical wisdom to the classroom.

Live Negotiation Workshop
Right after, students jumped into a live negotiation simulation — a high-energy workshop where they practiced real-world negotiation skills in teams. A powerful glimpse into the NEXIS learning experience.

The entire group then stepped out for a group photo on campus, capturing the moment this journey began.
Then it was time to refuel with a lunch break at the vibrant campus cafeteria.
Jamming & Joy
The day closed on a high note — literally — with a live music jam led by a guitarist. Students sang along, clapped in rhythm, and simply soaked in the joy of a new beginning.
