Day 1: Welcome to NEXIS – A New Beginning
Students arrived with parents, receiving khadas and welcome kits, while memories were captured at the photo booth.
Founders: Shared the vision of NEXIS, building right here in Siliguri, marking a milestone in East India’s higher education. A cake-cutting followed, symbolizing a fresh start.
Sandeep Agarwal: Delivered a motivational address that set the hall on fire with ambition and drive.
By afternoon, students were sorted into four houses- Ignite, Unicorn, Alpha & Hustle, the start of a competitive yet united culture.
Day 2: Clubs, Campus & Student Life
Icebreakers like Two Truths and a Lie built camaraderie, while Madhu Jay unveiled the academic roadmap.
Abhishek Banerjee introduced student life and clubs– cultural/communication, finance, sports, AI, and marketing club, ensuring NEXIS would be buzzing with opportunities beyond classrooms.
The day ended with a high-energy Treasure Hunt across campus, making students discover the campus that would define their next 3 years.
Day 3: Sales Street Showdown – Street Smart, Business Sharp
Navin Jain: Taught the X-factor in sales, showing students how to pitch, persuade, and close deals.
Soon after, groups were sent into the streets of Siliguri to sell real products, recording videos, engaging with people, and learning that business happens in the real world, not just textbooks.
The first-ever sales videos of NEXIS were played back for faculty and founders, who gave razor-sharp feedback.
Day 4: The Ad Studio – Marketing is Everything
Neeraj Sancheti: Unlocked the science behind powerful ads and reels, sparking creativity across the cohort.
Students researched brands, scripted ideas, and shot reels across campus, transforming NEXIS into a live studio. By evening, ads were screened, critiqued, and launched online for a 6-day marketing challenge.
Day 5: AI, LinkedIn & Branding – Lessons from the Real World
Ritesh Agarwal: Opened doors to the world of AI in business, from Ideogram to Sora to GPT, giving students an edge in analysis, design, and planning.
Aman Choudhury: Guided students then built their first LinkedIn profiles live, posted introductions, and networked with each other, their first step into the professional world.

The day ended with club leadership pitches and a global immersion webinar, cementing NEXIS’s industry-led, international outlook.
Day 6: Business Consulting – Solving Local Problems
Mridul Agarwal, Anurag Agarwal & Jas Bindra: Shared raw business journeys in a fireside chat.
Students then turned consultants, tackling real problem statements of local Siliguri businesses using tools like the Business Model Canvas.
The evening brought student council and house leadership nominations, setting the stage for NEXIS’s first elections.
Day 7: NEXIS Sports Day – Strategy on the Turf
Abhishek Banerjee flagged off the first-ever NEXsports Tournament. Cricket matches between houses weren’t just games, they were lessons in teamwork, leadership, and strategy.
Medals, cheers, and house points added fuel to the growing NEXIS spirit.
Day 8: Wellness & Self-Finance – Balance is Key
Art of Living Experts: Conducted a session on mental well-being, reminding students that true leaders manage both mind and body.
Prabin Agarwal: Led a dynamic workshop on Personal Finance & Investing. Through a live compounding activity, students saw how small investments grow into wealth, learning skills crucial for East India’s next generation of entrepreneurs.
The day ended with Kushal Sharma outlining the 3-year career roadmap at NEXIS, helping students align their journey with future goals.
Day 9: Communication & Elections – The Power of Voice
Dhiraj Golyan: Conducted a hands-on workshop on verbal communication, preparing students to command the room.
A thrilling Boardroom Imitation Activity followed, where study groups acted as CEOs, CFOs, and PR heads, solving crises under media fire.
By evening, history was made with the first-ever NEXIS student elections, where the Class of 2028 chose its leaders.
Day 10: Carnival & Closing – A Legacy Begins
The finale was pure celebration.
A flashback slideshow of the 10 days drew both cheers and goosebumps. Houses battled in Dumb Charades, and students lit up the stage with a Talent Show.
