NEXIS is a private business school and operates as a Training Body, duly accredited by MEPSC — an awarding body recognised by NCVET — and offers certification in vocational courses related to business management, which are aligned with the NSQF framework. NEXIS does not confer any degrees.

The programme moves from programming and web foundations in Year 1 to full-stack development, data and applied AI in Year 2, then mobile development, a specialisation, an industry internship and a capstone product in Year 3. You build and ship a real outcome every semester.

No, the 3-year undergrad program at the NEXIS School of Business is a full-time, on-campus program in Siliguri. We have a 7,500 sq ft modern, new campus with an opt-in residential facility available through tie-ups with several PGs.

We offer financing options to ensure that finance is not a barrier if you are selected. We have partnered with Axis Bank to provide educational loans at low interest rates, without collateral, and with additional moratorium benefits. Additionally, we offer semester-wise payment plans, allowing you to pay fees in instalments at the start of each semester.

No. This is an opt-in residential program wherein NEXIS assists students who wish to live close to campus in connecting with nearby resident facilities that offer comfortable, secure accommodation.

(Neither the fee structure includes the accommodation charges, nor does NEXIS charge any sum to the students and/or resident facilities for facilitating such accommodation.)

Students who are appearing for or have completed Class XII can apply. Prior coding experience is not required. NEXIS evaluates your academic record, activities, interests and readiness to learn by building.

To apply for the scholarship, students must first give the NEXGen Scholarship Test.

Merit scholarships

Scholarships are awarded based on test scores and range from 10% to 100% of tuition fees.

Additional scholarships will be given based on a comprehensive profile evaluation and the respective scholarship requirements.

We have collaborated with multiple local and national-level startups and corporates. Depending on the student's interest, the student can intern either in their city or outside. We provide exclusive access and training for students to crack these opportunities.

You learn programming, software engineering and applied AI through classes, labs and hands-on projects. Each semester includes an Out-Class build, from a live website and full-stack app to client work, automation and a capstone product. Industry mentors, internships and campus activities connect the work to real people and problems.

The programme supports three routes: developer, product, AI and automation roles; building a software venture; or further study. Internships, career preparation and a portfolio of shipped products help you choose and prepare for your path.

You can independently enrol in an optional parallel UGC-recognised BCA or BSc Computer Science degree. That degree pathway can keep MCA, master's and study-abroad options open, alongside the skills and portfolio you build at NEXIS.

NEXIS programmes are aligned with the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) and recognised through NCVET — India's apex regulatory body for skill-focused programs — through our affiliation with MEPSC, a Sector Skill Council under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India. NEXIS is also recognised by DPIIT under the Startup India initiative.

NEXIS awards its own Computer Science & AI certification, not a university degree. Students who want a degree can independently enrol in an optional parallel BCA or BSc Computer Science programme at a UGC-recognised university. The university awards that degree.
