Undergraduate Program in Business Management

The three-year Business Management programme is designed around a mix of in-class learning and hands-on projects across all six semesters. You’ll build your foundation in areas like marketing, accounting, economics, HRM and business strategy, and then move into areas such as sales, digital marketing, finance, data analytics, product management, entrepreneurship, growth and brand management.

Alongside your core courses, you’ll work on one practical project every semester. This includes building an online business, consulting for local businesses, solving real business problems using AI, building your creator presence, experiencing a global immersion and finally building your own business.

So, instead of only learning concepts in class, you get multiple opportunities to apply what you learn, work on real projects and build a portfolio of work throughout your three years.

You learn directly from founders and operators who have grown companies, so you bring back systems, new channels and new markets, not just theory. And through NEXVENTURE LABS, our in-house incubation centre, you can build a new venture alongside the family business with mentorship from founders and VCs and access to funding.

Everything you need to understand how a business is built and grown: Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, HR, Business Strategy, Communication, Entrepreneurship, Digital Marketing and AI in Business. It goes well beyond a standard syllabus, with practical courses in data analytics, no-code and design, quantitative techniques, international business, financial modelling and business automation, reinforced by industry sessions and masterclasses throughout.

The Business Management programme has a batch size of only 40 students, making it a selective batch of ambitious students. This allows you to get more hands-on learning, closer interaction with professors and industry experts, and a more collaborative campus experience.

Your faculty is the industry itself. Each subject is taught by someone who does it for a living: Accounting by a practising Chartered Accountant, marketing by the owner of a marketing agency, finance, entrepreneurship, strategy and technology by professionals and founders actively working in those fields. Across your three years you learn directly from 60+ industry experts, and meet founders and CXOs through masterclasses, fireside chats and live projects. The curriculum is built by scholars and taught by practitioners, because the best way to learn an industry is from the people running it.

You’ll get hands-on experience with tools that are commonly used in the workplace, including Tally, Excel, Google Workspace, Canva and Zoho. You’ll also learn practical digital skills such as SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads and building your LinkedIn presence.

As you progress, you’ll also work with AI tools, Power BI, no-code and design tools, along with a dedicated course on Navigating the Digital World to help you understand and use digital platforms effectively.

You’ll also work on your resume, CV and professional presence, so you’re not just learning the tools but also learning how to use them in real work situations.

Not at all. The Business Management programme is for students from all streams, and you don’t need to come from a business or family business background.

You also don’t have to start your own business after graduation. If you’re looking to build a career in the corporate job market in fields such as marketing, finance, sales, consulting, operations, HR or other business roles, the programme can help you explore those paths.

The final semester is a dedicated Build Your Business track, and the six semester-long projects before it mean you've already learned what building and running a company actually takes. We expect founders to come out of every batch.

Traditional management degrees were designed for a different era. NEXIS's curriculum is built around what the industry actually hires for today and what it will need by the time you graduate. NEXIS is not a UGC-recognised university and does not award degrees itself.

Students who successfully complete the full three-year Business Management programme receive a Professional Certificate for the Undergraduate Programme in Business Management from NEXIS School of Business.

Students may choose to pursue a recognised BBA or B.Com degree independently and in parallel with NEXIS. Options to explore include universities such as Jain University and NMIMS Mumbai. UGC-recognised online degrees are treated as equivalent to corresponding conventional degrees under UGC regulations. Students enrol independently and should verify recognition of the specific university and programme and the eligibility requirements for any master's programme or job they plan to pursue.

Yes, you can. Students from any stream can apply for the Business Management programme at NEXIS. Everything is taught from the basics, so you don’t need to have studied Commerce or Business in Class XII.
